• Thumbnail panel: press L (⇧+l) to keep a thumbnail of the current row, along with its kind, size, and modification date, beside the file list. You can check what is inside images, PDFs, and videos while moving through the list from the keyboard. The panel can also be toggled from the toolbar button, View Options (v), the View menu, and ⌘K, and resized by dragging its left edge. Whether it is open and how wide it is are kept across restarts. For a large view, l still opens Quick Look as before

Changed

• Time Machine backup destinations are no longer indexed for ⌘F search. A backup stacks up many generations of the same file, so results are no longer buried under old copies. Ordinary volumes, including external disks, are still indexed as before

Fixed

• Memory use could grow without bound while the search index was being built. When writing could not keep up with reading, unprocessed file records piled up in memory. This showed up when indexing large trees, such as a whole volume at once
• The delete confirmation sheet could become a dead end when a delete failed. For failures that will not change on retry, such as insufficient permissions, the "Delete" button is now replaced by "Reveal in Finder" (or "Open Trash" when a move to the Trash could not be rolled back), so you can get to the file from there. Marks on the failed files are kept

• Multi-select in the file list: ⇧-click for a range, ⌘-click to add or remove one row at a time, and ⇧↑ / ⇧↓ to grow or shrink the range from the keyboard
• Mark a whole selection at once: with several files selected, Space marks or unmarks all of them. Context-menu actions apply to the entire selection too
• Range selection with grouping enabled: ranges follow what you actually see on screen and stay continuous across group headers
• Reorder tabs by dragging: an indicator line shows where the tab will land, and you can drop at the end of the list. Pinned tabs move like any other, and the order survives a restart

• The pin icon on a pinned tab was hidden when the folder name was long. Pin state is now shown by the leading icon, so it is visible regardless of name length

• Customizable key bindings: reassign any single-key command from the "Key Bindings" tab in ⌘,. Return, Space and Esc stay reserved
• File preview: press l to Quick Look the selected file, and keep moving through the folder with ↑↓ without closing the preview

• "Reset to Default" in the "Mark" tab of ⌘, reset every setting — terminal choice, display language, tag colors, search exclusions and key bindings — instead of just the mark glyph and color
• Bookmarks disappeared without warning after renaming or moving the bookmarked folder. They now follow the change
